Ingredients used in chicken varuval
• Mustard - teaspoons.
• Curry leaves - 1 bunch.
• Dry red chillies - 10 large.
• Onion - 1 large.
• Chicken boneless (very small pieces) - 1 pound.
• Sesame oil - to fry.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
In a kadai, add oil and mustard and let it splutter. To this add finely chopped onions, curry leaves and finely chopped chillies and saute until transparent. Add boneless small pieces of chicken and saute until chicken is half cooked. Do not add any water. finally add salt and keep sauteing till the chicken is dry and cooked and all the chillies are almost fried.
