CHICKPEA SOUP WITH RICE

Ingredients used in CHICKPEA SOUP WITH RICE
• Chickpeas - 1 cup.
• Pepper corn - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Rice - 1 tablespoon.
• Tomatoes (chopped) - 2 number.
• Onions (chopped) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Olive oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Garlic (crushed) - 10 numbers.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Paprika powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Potato (chopped and boiled) - 1/2 cup.
• Carrots (chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Sugar - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Dry herb - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Over boil the chickpeas and keep aside.
  • Take a pan, add pepper, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, rice, slightly dry roast it then transfer it into a mixie jar and make a smooth powder.
  • Take a pan, add olive oil, onions, little salt, crushed garlic, carrots, tomatoes, turmeric powder, paprika powder and cook it with closed lid on slow flame for 3 -4 minutes.
  • Add already prepared smooth powder, mix immediately and add little water, potato, boiled chick peas and check for seasoning.
  • At last, add salt, sugar, dry herb, boil it for another 10 minutes.

Now take into a serving bowl and serve with bread.
