COCONUT CHUTNEY MAHARASHTRIAN STYLE

Ingredients used in COCONUT CHUTNEY MAHARASHTRIAN STYLE
• Fresh grated coconut - 1/2 number.
• Sugar or jaggery - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic cloves - 5-6 cloves.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Green chillies (chopped) - 4-5 numbers.
• Lemon juice - (1-2) drops.
Method:
  • Grind together coconut, green chillies, garlic, cumin seeds, salt, sugar and coriander leaves, blend to a coarse paste.
  • Transfer to abowl and sprinkle few drops of lemon juice.

This is freshly made and served often with vada pav, kanda bhajiya and various other snacks.
