Ingredients used in coconut roasted chutney
• White colour greenchilly (paper chilly) - 6 numbers.
• Scraped coconut - 1 cup.
• Onions sliced - 1 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 2 stricks.
• Coconut coil - 10 ml.
• Salt - to taste.
• Tamarind / pulp - to taste.
Method:
Wash and remove stems of the chilli. slightly heat oil in a kadi and add the chilli and onion. Fry in slow fire till tender and onion transparent. Now add coconut and curry leaves and saute for 3mts. Take out from fire, add tamarid removing seeds (or use thick pulp). Grind together to a coarse paste.
