Ingredients of Crab Masala

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Garam Masala Powder  1 Teaspoons
Curry Leaves and a small Red Chilli  5-6 Numbers
Coriander leaves a small   Bunch
Shallots  2 Numbers
Tomato  1 Small
Tamarind pulp  1/2 Teaspoons
Green Chillies slit  2 Numbers
Ginger finely choped  1/2 Numbers
Garlic  5-6 Clove
Crabs  1 Lbs
Turmeric Powder  1/2 Teaspoons
Chilli Powder  1/2 Teaspoons
Salt   To Taste
Vegetable Oil   To Fry


Directions
  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add curry leaves and red chilli. Fry till aroma comes out.
  2. Add the ginger garlic paste and fry for a couple of minutes. Now add the chopped onions and fry till soft.
  3. Add green chillies and the powders to the masala. Make a paste out of the tamarind pulp with some warm water and add this as well.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and the uncooked crab and mix well. Add 1/2 a glass of water and salt and cook on low flame till the crab is cooked.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve Hot with rice.
