Ingredients used in Crab Masala
• Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Curry leaves and a small red chilli - 5-6 numbers.
• Coriander leaves a small - bunch.
• Shallots - 2 numbers.
• Tomato - 1 small.
• Tamarind pulp - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Green chillies slit - 2 numbers.
• Ginger finely choped - 1/2 numbers.
• Garlic - 5-6 clove.
• Crabs - 1 lbs.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Vegetable oil - to fry.
Method:
  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add curry leaves and red chilli. Fry till aroma comes out.
  2. Add the ginger garlic paste and fry for a couple of minutes. Now add the chopped onions and fry till soft.
  3. Add green chillies and the powders to the masala. Make a paste out of the tamarind pulp with some warm water and add this as well.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and the uncooked crab and mix well. Add 1/2 a glass of water and salt and cook on low flame till the crab is cooked.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve Hot with rice.
