Main Ingredient : Beef

Published date : November 05, 2016

Ingredients used in CROCK POT BEEF ROAST
• Roast beef or round steak - 3,4 pound.
• Salt and pepper - to taste.
• Onion, chopped - 1 small.
• Brown gravy mix - 1 numbers.
• Water - 1 cup.
• Catsup - 1/2 cup.
• Dijon mustard - 2 teaspoons.
• Garlic powder - 1/2 cup.
• Red wine - 1/2 cup.
Method:
Place meat in slow cooking pot. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.

If desired, add small peeled potatoes and carrots. Sauce can be thickened with 2 tablespoons flour dissolved in frac14; cup of water.

I usually skip the potatoes and carrots and mix the roast or round steak with egg noodles
