Ingredients used in DAL KACHORI
• Black gram dal - 1/4 cup.
• Wheat flour - 4 cup.
• Salt - 0 to taste.
• Oil - 1 to fry.
• Fennel seeds - 1 tablespoons.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tablespoons.
• Cumin seeds powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Red chilli powder - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Asafoetida - 1/4 teaspoons.

1. Soak black gram dal overnight, wash them and strain water in the morning. 2. Make a dough of wheat flour, then cover it with a wet cloth and keep it aside for half an hour. 3. To the black gram dal add red chilli powder, salt and all the spices(Fennel seeds, Coriander seeds, Cumin seeds powder, Red chilli powder, Asafoetida) and make a thick paste. 4. Then make small balls of it. 5. Also make small balls of wheat flour and press them like pooris with 2 inches thick. 6. Then stuff the mixture of black gram dal in centre of wheat flour pooris and cover it properly. 7. Then again press like patties with 3 inches thickness. 8.Then deep fry in oil and transfer into a plate. 9. Now Dal kachori is ready to taste.
