Ingredients used in Dhansak
• Toovar dal - 1/2 cup.
• Moong dal - 1/2 cup.
• Urad dal - 1/2 cup.
• Egg plant - 1 cup.
• Broccoli - 1 cup.
• Chopped tomatoes - 1 cup.
• Chopped onions - 1 cup.
• Ginger - 2 numbers.
• Garlic flakes - 4 numbers.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Green chillies - 2 numbers.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
ÔÇó Grind ginger and garlic to make a paste. ÔÇó Mix toovar dal, moong dal and urad dal. ÔÇó Wash them properly and add water. ÔÇó Add broccoli and carrots and cook in a pressure cooker. ÔÇó Heat the oil. ÔÇó Fry green chillies, cumin seeds and onions till they turn golden brown. ÔÇó Add eggplant and tomatoes. ÔÇó Cook the vegetables. ÔÇó Add cooked dal, gram masala, coriander leaves. ÔÇó Boil it. ÔÇó Dhansak is ready.
