Ingredients used in Drumstick Vada / MurungaiKai Vadai
• Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Pepper corns - 10 numbers.
• Ginger - 2cm x 2cm piece.
• Garlic - 5 clove.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Asafetida - 1 pinch.
• Coriander powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Chilly powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Rice flour (for crispiness) - 1 tablespoons.
• Gram flour - 4 tablespoons.
• Drumsticks (boil and extract the pulp) - 4 to 5 numbers.
• Aniseed -1/4 tsp - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Curry leaves/coriander/pudina-all or anyone (optional) - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt (add as per individual tastes) - 1 teaspoons.
• Oil (deep fry) - to fry.
Method:

1. Mix up all the flour and powder items together. 2. Make a paste out of the grinding items without adding water. 3. Mix the flour mix well with the paste and drumstick pulp to vada mix consistency. 4. Take a tbs of the paste; make small vadas out of it. (Can also make small balls to cook Drumstick Kababs!) 5. Deep fry these vadas (or balls) and serve it.
