Ingredients used in EASY KHANDVI
• Chickpea flour - 1/2 cup.
• Sour butter milk - 1-1/4 cup.
• Asafoetida - 2 pinch.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - 1 tablespoon.
• Mustard seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Green chillies(chopped) - 1 number.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
Take a bowl and add chickpea flour, sour butter milk, asafoetida, turmeric powder, salt and whisk it nicely without lumps. Transfer it into a bowl and on high flame pressure cook for 3 whistle. Cook it on slow flame for 5 -8 minutess and switch off the flame. Grease the flat surface and spread the pressure cooked batter then allow it cool. Make the slits, peel with knife and roll it, then place it on serving plate. Heat the oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, asafoetida, green chillies, curry leaves and saute it. Transfer above tempering on top of serving plate and garnish with coriander leaves. Now the healthy snack easy khandvi is ready to serve.
