Ingredients used in Fish vindaloo
• Pomfret ur surmai or ghol fish - 1 numbers.
• Red chillies - to taste.
• Cumin seeds - 2 grams.
• Garlic - 20 large.
• Ginger - 10 grams.
• Turmeric - 2 grams.
• Salt - to taste.
• Vinger - 8 ml.
• Oil for frying fish and for curry - 30 ml.

1. Clean, wash and slice the fish.

2. Grind to a fine oaste the chillies, cumin seed, garlic, turmeric and ginger, if used.

3. Smear on thr fish and keep aside for 5-10 minutes.

4. Heat oil. Fry lightly on both sides. nbsp;Remove.

5. In a pan, heat the remaining oil. Fry the remaining spices.

6. Add about 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil.

7. Add fish, salt and vinger.

8. Simmer till the fish is done. Taste and remove.nbsp;nbsp;
