Ingredients used in Fool Medemmas -- Fava Beans
• Cooked fava beans - 500 grams.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Tomato - 1 number.
• Olive oil - 1.5 tablespoons.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Parsley - 1/4 cup.
• Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Black pepper powder - to taste.
• Red chili powder - to taste.
• Pita bread (optional) - as required.
Method:
  • Add beans into a pot and bring to a boil.
  • Mix well and add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil again, then reduce to medium heat and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • This dish is usually eaten with pita bread.
