Ingredients used in Fried Meat Balls
• Minced beef - 125 grams.
• Minced pork - 125 grams.
• Ground black pepper - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Ground nutmeg - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Finely chopped fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons.
• Garlic, crushed - 4 clove.
• Salt - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Onion, finely chopped - 1 springs.
• Fish sauce - 2 teaspoons.
• Beaten egg - 1 tablespoons.
• Plain flour - .
• Lard - to fry.
Method:
Mix the beef and pork mince together. If the pork is very lean add a tablespoon of finely diced pork fat. Combine with all other ingredients except flour and lard. Make small balls the size of a hazelnut in its shell. Roll in plain flour and fry in hot lard over medium low heat for 5 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve.
