Ingredients used in Gherkin Bhaaji
• Gherkins - 500 grams.
• Chili powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt and sugar - to taste.
• Coriander leaves - to taste.
• Asafoetida - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Mustard seeds - 2 teaspoons.
• Oil - 1 tablespoons.
  1. Wash gherkins. Make thin round slices, rinse them in salt water and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, asafoetida and turmeric powder. Add sliced ghekins and fry for sometime. Cover and let it cook.
  3. Check if the gherkins turn soft. Add salt, sugar, chili powder and stir. Cover and remove from the heat.Garnish with coriander leaves.
