Ingredients used in Goulash Soup
• Olive oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Boneless stew meat, cut into small cubes - 1 pound.
• Flour - 1 tablespoons.
• Fine sea salt - 1 teaspoons.
• Freshly ground pepper - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Onion, chopped - 1 large.
• Red or green bell pepper, seeded and chopped - 1 numbers.
• Chopped tomatoes - 1 cup.
• Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons.
• Hot water - 6 cup.
• Juice of lemon - 1 numbers.
• Garlic, minced - 2 clove.
• Caraway seed - 1 teaspoons.
• Sweet hungarian paprika - 2 tablespoons.
Heat the oil in a Dutch oven or other heavy bottomed pan. Dredge the meat with the flour, salt, and pepper. Brown the meat in the hot oil, and then add the chopped vegetables. Cook and stir a few minutes, and then add the remaining ingredients. Reduce the heat to simmer and allow to gently cook for about 2 hours, or until the flavors have blended. Correct seasonings and serve.
