GREEN PAPAYA SOUR CURRY

Ingredients used in GREEN PAPAYA SOUR CURRY
• Peanuts - 1 tea spoon.
• Sesame seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Fresh coconut - 1 cup.
• Red chilies - 4 numbers.
• Oil - as required.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic - 5 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 4 springs.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Fenugreek powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chilli paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Tarmarind juice - 1 cup.
• Turmeric - pinch.
• Hing - pinch.
• Sugar - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Raw green papaya small size (grated) - 1 numbers.
• Tomato - 2 numbers.
• Green chilies - 4 numbers.
• Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoons.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
Method:
  • Take a pan, add peanuts, sesame seeds and roast it. Now add in pestle and slightly ground it.
  • Take fresh coconut and red chilies, put them in a blender, make it into a coarse paste and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. When splutter, add cumin seeds, garlic, chopped onion, curry leaves, turmeric powder, hing, coriander powder, cumin powder, fenugreek powder and also add coconut and red chilli paste in this mixture.
  • Then add tamarind juice, pinch of sugar and salt(as per taste). Let the mixture cook for few minutes.
  • When this mixture is cooked well, add raw green papaya, peanuts and sesame powder and slightly toss it.
  • At last, add tomato pieces, green chilies, coriander leaves and cook for about 2-3 minutes.

Serve it.
