HAWAIIN CHICKEN SANDWICH

Ingredients used in HAWAIIN CHICKEN SANDWICH
• Bread roll or croissant - 1 number.
• Celery (chopped) - 15 grams.
• Pineapple (chopped) - 30 grams.
• Mayonnaise - 20 grams.
• Chicken (cooked & chopped) - 100 grams.
• Lettuce - 1 leaf.
• Shredded cabbage - 15 grams.
Method:
  • Mix chicken, pineapple, celery with mayonnaise.
  • Then take a fresh bread roll, put the lettuce on the bottom side of the bread and top it with above-prepared chicken and pineapple mixture.
  • At last, cover it with another half of bread and serve it directly or toast it.

Amen! I did a dish (and told someone about it) with pineapple in it and I was asked why I didn't just buy a fresh one. WHY? Cheaper in a can and less work. Plus, they're too damned expensive! And they aren't "all over Hawaii".

Looks good! Folks keep in mind that this sandwich, which he said was served at a resort, probably cost per serving what we make in a week. So, fresh pineapple would be much cheaper in a homemade serving than to buy this sandwich pre-made. Some folks
