Ingredients used in Horlicks Oats Tindora Bath
• Horlicks oats - 2 cups.
• Shahi jeera - 1 tea spoon.
• Bay leaf - 1 number.
• Cardamom - 2 number.
• Cloves - 5 number.
• Black cardamom - 2 number.
• Maize - 1 number.
• Biryani flower - 1 number.
• Cinnamon stick (2 inch) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Onion (sliced) - 1 number.
• Oil - as required.
• Tomatoes (sliced) - 1 number.
• Tindora (sliced) - 1/2 cup.
• Mint leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Curd/yogurt - 1 cup.
• Green chilies (slited) - 3 number.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • In a bowl, add Horlicks oats, garam masala spices, pinch of salt and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add sliced onions, saute it for a minute.
  • Now, add sliced tomatoes, tindora to the same pan and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Then add mint leaves, slitted green chilies, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, curd, salt and saute well.
  • Transfer the prepared Horlicks oats and masala mixture to the cooking pan and top it with chopped coriander leaves.
  • At last, cook it with closed lid for about 3-4 minutes and serve it hot.
