Ingredients used in Idli Manchuria
• Idli - 4 numbers.
• Cornflour - 6 tablespoons.
• Maida - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - to fry.
• Onion - 2 numbers.
• Capsicum - 1 numbers.
• Pepper powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ginger - 1 tablespoons.
• Garlic - 1 tablespoons.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoons.
• Chilli sauce - 1 teaspoons.
• Soya sauce - 2 tablespoons.
• Vinegar - 1 tablespoons.
• Cornflour - 1 tablespoons.
• Oil - 3 tablespoons.
Method:
Cut idli in to pieces (1 idli to 6 pieces). Make a batter of cornflour and maida with some water. The batter should not be too thin. Add salt. Dip the idli pieces in the batter and fry in oil. Remove the fried idli from the oil when the outer covering is fried. In a pan take oil, when the oil is warm add onion and fry , add capsicum,ginger, garlic, paste, salt and pepper and fry for 2 minutes. Add vinegar, soya sauce, chilli sauce and saute it for 3 -4 minutes. Add the fried idli pieces, cornflour mixed with water and saute. The delicious idli manchuria is ready to taste.
