Ingredients used in Indori Poha
• Thick poha - 3 cup.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tablespoons.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tablespoons.
• Refined oil - 3 tablespoons.
• Sugar - 2 tablespoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Green chilly - 3 numbers.
• Onion - 2 numbers.
• Lemon - 1 numbers.
• Coriander - leaf.
• Salt - to taste.
• Jeerawan or chat masala - to taste.
• Ratlami sev - 100 grams.
Method:
1. Chop the onions, green chillies, coriander. 2. Soak the poha in a vessel or tapeli¯Éò and separate the water, remember dont soak it more than 1 min otherwise it will become paste. we want the beaten rice flakes not to be crushed. 3. After 5 mins add salt sugar and turmeric in to poha and mix it with a spoon gently 4. In a pan add oil heat it and then add mustard seeds cumin seeds then onion and green chilly 5. Saute it till the color becomes translucent 6. Turn gas to sim and add poha, mix it well. 7. Cover it completely make sure pan is not opened from anywhere. 8. After 2 mins open it mix it add coriander leaves and again cover it for 2 mins and this time turn of the gas 9. Open it poha is ready now serve it with ratlami sev, chopped onions, lemon and jeerawan.
