Ingredients used in Kachumber Salad
• Curry leaves - 6-8 leaf.
• Moong dal (split yellow gram) - 1/3 cup.
• Toor dal (split gram) - 1/3 cup.
• Mixed vegetables (capsicum, carrots & peas) finely chopped - 1 cup.
• Masoor dal (split red lentils) - 1/3 cup.
• Cumin seeds (jeera) - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Chopped coriander, for garnishing - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Asafoetida (hing) - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Green chili, chopped - 1 numbers.
• Onion, chopped - 1 numbers.
• Ginger-green chili paste - 2 teaspoons.
• Garlic paste - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Tomato, finely chopped - 1 big.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Oil - 1 tablespoons.
• Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
Cut tomatoes into small cubes.
Peel and cut cucumber and carrots into small cubes.
Peel onions and radish and cut into small cubes.
Deseed capsicum and cut into small cubes.
Mix all the vegetables. Add chopped green chilies, chopped green coriander, lemon juice and salt. Toss well. Arrange in a salad bowl and serve cold.

the ingredients are not for the kachumbar salad..there is some error..please rectify thanks

I was told by someone the recipe to make Kachumber salad but I wanted to verify it here. The directions look right and almost match what I was told. The only exception is that I was told to put a little black pepper powder and wasn't told to add cap
