- Heat pan, add toordal, urad dal, coriander seeds, peppercorns, cumin seeds and dry roast it. Transfer into mixie jar.
- In the same pan, add dry red chilies, tamarind roastseparately. Switch off the flame.
- Transfer into the same blender, add salt and blend into a coarse powder.
Now Kandi Podi is ready to serve with Idly and dosa.
