KARONDA MIRCHI STRING CHUTNEY

Ingredients used in KARONDA MIRCHI STRING CHUTNEY
• Karondas - 250 grams.
• Green chillies - 5 number.
• Fennel powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Asafoetida - 1 pinch.
• Chilli powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - 1 to taste.
• Sugar - 1 tablespoon.
• Lime juice - 1 cup.
Method:
  • First take karondas and green chillies and make a slit on it.
  • In a bowl, add ginger powder, fennel powder, cumin powder, asafoetida, chilli powder, salt and mix it well.
  • Then stuff the slit karondas and chillies with above prepared mixture.
  • After stuffing the mixture take a needle and thread pass the needle along with the thread into karonda and chillies alternatively to form like a necklace. Later, place it in a glass.
  • Now, make a syrup of sugar, salt, lime juice.
  • Pour the syrup in the above glass and leave it for about 3 to 4 days. Serve it.
