KERALA STYLE FISH PULUSU

Ingredients used in KERALA STYLE FISH PULUSU
• Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Coriander seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Coconut oil - as required.
• Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Ginger(finely chopped) - 1 teaspoons.
• Garlic(finely chopped) - 1 teaspoons.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Dry red chiies - 3 numbers.
• Green chilies - 4 numbers.
• Onions - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Tamarind juice - 1 cup.
• Fish(pieces) - 2 cups.
• Coconut milk - 1/2 cup.
• Coriander leaves - 1/4 bunch.
Method:
  • Heat pan and dry roast fenugreek seeds, coriander seeds and crush it with a pestle.
  • In a same pan Heat oil and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, ginger, garlic, curry leaves, dry red chilies, green chilies, onions, salt and saute it.
  • Add crushed coriander and fenugreek powder, turmeric powder and saute it.
  • Add tamarind juice and boil it on high flame.
  • Add fish and cook for 5 minutes with the lid on it.
  • Then add coconut milk and cook for 5 minutes on slow flame.
  • At last, add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.

Now Kerala style fish pulusu is ready to serve.
