Ingredients used in KHAMBHATI HALWASAN
• Milk - 2500 ml.
• Ricota cheese - 200 grams.
• Wheat grain - 150 grams.
• Sugar - 500 grams.
• Almonds - 50 grams.
• Cardamom powder - 10 grams.
• Saffron - 1 teaspoons.
• Ghee - 100 grams.
• Nutmeg - 1 small.
• Alum powder - to taste.
Soak the wheat in the water overnight. Tie in a cloth and put some weight. 24 hours after roots come out from the wheat. Dry them and grind like gruel. (kansar) Mix wheat gruel in cold milk and cook on a low heat. Stir until the gruel comes up. Add a pinch of alum powder. Cook until all the water dries. Add saffron and sugar. When it thickens and stops sticking to the side of the pot, add cardamom and nutmeg powder. Mix well. Grease a plate and spread the mixture. Decorate with chopped almonds and. Cool and cut into pieces.

i like the receipe but i don't know when to mix ricota cheese

in ur receipe u have mentioned 200 gm. recota cheese i have tried to mixed in halwasan while we have to stie to make loaf, is it a correc way to add cheese? the test was o.k. but i think cheese was not properway to a. pl guide me. thank you kalpa
