Ingredients used in Kondaikadalai Pachadi
• Chillipowder - 2 teaspoons.
• Oil - to fry.
• Tamarindjuice - 1/4 cup.
• Urad dal - 1 teaspoons.
• Methi - 1 teaspoons.
• Mustard - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Curryleaves - to taste.
• Turmericpowder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Mango ginger - 150 grams.
• Small onion - 7-8 numbers.
• Kondaikadalai - 1 cup.
• Tomato - 1 numbers.
• Greenchilli - 3 numbers.
Method:
Soak k.kadalai overnight andboil with salt amp; turmeric powder,drain amp; keep aside.
Peel amp; slice mangoginger.
Slice onions amp; tomato.
Slit greenchillies.
Heat a kadai, put boiled kadalai, add mangoginger,onionsamp;tomatoamp;chillies.mix well for few minutes.Add chillipowder amp; tamarind juice,salt amp; little water.cover amp; cook till ginger is tender amp; gravy is thick.Remove.
Season it with mustard,methi amp; urad dal amp;curry leaves.Serve with rice or chappathies.
