Ingredients used in Lagansala Stew
• Yam cubed small - 50 grams.
• Sweet potatoes - 2 numbers.
• Frenchbeans cubed small - 50 grams.
• Capsicum cubed small - 1 numbers.
• Carrots cubed small - 4 numbers.
• Shelled green peas - 200 grams.
• Chopped onion - 2 large.
• Green chilli - 3 numbers.
• Cummin seed and coriander seed powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Garlic and ginger paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Chopped tomatoes - 2 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Finely chopped celery - 1 bunch.
Boil green peas and celery Fry all cubed vegetables separately and remove from oil. Fry onions until tender. Add green chilli, cummin and coriander seed powder, turmeric, garlic and ginger paste and fry for two minutes. Mix in the fried and boiled vegetables, tomatoes, and salt. Stir occasionally. Put water on the lid and cook until reasonably dry. Add vinegar and Worcestershire sauce, stir. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
