Ingredients used in Lauer Kofta Curry
• Medium sized dhudhi (peeled and grated) - 1 numbers.
• Besan - 2 cup.
• Onions (grated) - 1 numbers.
• Sugar - 1 teaspoons.
• Garlic (crushed) - 4 numbers.
• Ginger (grated) - 1/2 numbers.
• Cumin powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Onions (into paste) - 2 numbers.
• Garlic (paste) - 4 numbers.
• Ginger (paste) - 1 numbers.
• Tomato puree - 1 cup.
• Whole garam masala - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Bay leaves - 2 leaf.
Method:
To fry the Koftas: add all ingredinets under kofta and form a thick batter of it. Then heat oil and fry them till they turn golden brown. Make the Gravy: heat oil in a pan, add bay leaves, whole garam masala, onion paste and fry, add ginger-garlic paste and tomato puree and fry for 5 minutes. Then add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and water. Add in the koftas and garnish with coriander. Goes well with garam rotis.
