Ingredients used in Macchi Ka Salan
• Fish fillets - 1500 grams.
• Red chilli powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Green chilli paste - 2 teaspoons.
• Garlic paste - 2 teaspoons.
• Ginger paste - 2 teaspoons.
• Mint paste - 3 tablespoons.
• Coriander powder - 3 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Ghee / vegetable oil - 150 grams.
• Onions, chopped - 240 grams.
Method:
1. Heat the ghee / oil in a large frying pan; add onions and saute until light brown in colour.

2. Add the marinated fish fillets. Reduce heat and add 1/2 a cup of warm water and salt. Cook, stirring carefully, taking care that the fish pieces do not break. Cook until the fish is tender and the gravy is thick.
