Ingredients used in Mango Pie
• All purpose flour - 2+1/2 cup.
• Sugar - 3 cup.
• Salt - 1 tea spoon.
• Lemon zest - 1 tea spoon.
  • To make crust, gently spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level using a knife.
  • Mix flour and salt, mixing nicely having a whisk.
  • Cut in 5 tbsps. butter and reducing having a pastry mixer or 2 knives till blend looks like rough meal. Include water, mixing just right up until wet.
  • Divide dough into two similar parts. Lightly press each part right into a 4-inch circle on the sheet of plastic wrap; cover. Cool Half an hour.
  • Pre-heat oven to 425°. Unwrap dough; put 1 portion chilled dough on the casually floured area. Roll dough right into a circle. Fit dough in to an approximately 10-inch deep-dish pie plate covered with cooking spray.
  • To make stuffing, mix brown sugar and cornstarch in the big bowl, mixing nicely using a whisk. Include mango; toss to coat. Include mango mix to prepared pie plate; spread equally with 1 tbsp. butter.
  • Unwrap dough; put leftover chilled dough part on the gently floured surface. Roll dough into a circle. Accommodate dough above mango mix. Press sides of dough collectively. Fold sides beneath; flute. Cut numerous cuts in the top of dough to permit steam to flee.
  • To make topping, clean surface of dough with milk. Mix ginger and granulated sugar; sprinkle consistently over dough. Put pie plate on the foil-lined baking sheet; bake at 425° for 25 minutes. Decrease oven heat to 375°; bake yet another Half an hour or till pie is golden brown.
