Ingredients used in masala dal
• Red gram - 225 grams.
• Green chillies - 10 grams.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Turmeric - pinch.
• Coconut - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Mustard seeds - pinch.
• Cumin - pinch.
• Tomatoes - 225 grams.
• Fat - 30 grams.
Method:

1. Clean and boil gram unitil soft. 2. mash well. 3. add salt green chillies, turmeric,

Salt and chopped tomatoes.4. grate and grind coconut to a fine paste.

5. When tomatoes are cooked add groundcoconut. 6. Heat fat in a pan. add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. pour over dal.nbsp; 7. garnish with chopped coriander leaves and Serve hot.
