Ingredients used in Methi Tamarind Curry
• Small onions - 10 .
• Garlic - 10 .
• Sesame oil - 4 tablespoons.
• Fennel seeds - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Urad dal - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Curry leaves - 5 leaf.
• Methi - 11/2 tablespoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Chilli powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Corriander powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Tamarind - to taste.
• Tomato - 1 numbers.
Method:
Soak the tamarind in the water and take the tamarind juice. First add the sesame oil in the pan once it get heated, then add the mustard seeds, fennel seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, methi and fry it. Add the small onions and garlics and fry till get brown after that add the tomato pieces and stir it well. then add turmeric , chilli powder and corriander powder and mix it well till the raw smell goes out. Then add the tamarind juice and keep the heat in low flame once it boils well then switch off the gas.
