Ingredients used in microwave dhokla recipe
• Oil - .
• Sugar - .
• Turmeric - .
• Curd - .
• 1/2 lime - .
• Salt to taste - 1/2 tsp .
• Besan - 1 cup.
• Mustard seeds - .
• Coriander leales 4 garnish - .
Method:
dhokla ------- step1 ----- to 1cup of besan add a pinch of turmeric, 2tbs curd,3tsp oil,1 2 piece lime juice,salt to taste (1 2tsp)amp; with hot water make a smooth batter.pour this into a greased glass bowl amp; microwave it at 80power for 8min.----just before pouring into a greased bowl atlast add soda amp; mix. step2 ------ Now make tadka with oil ,mustard seeds amp; 2 green chilles.pour this tadka over the dhokla pieces. step3 ----- prepare lime water with the remaining lime,1 glass water,2 1 2tsp sugar amp; a pinch of salt.pour with a spoon on the dhokla pieces. garnish it with coriander leaves.

the dhokla is easy to make & it is v.tasty. i used baking soda & u actually don't get any red streaks.mrs u try ur recipie again...

hey chef.. i tried the microwave dhokla recipe n it turned out pretty good but except for the fact that it wasn't as fluffy as the ones in mkt. could u tell me exactly how much soda should be added?? the best part is.. its so fast n a yummy fat free

Instead of adding baking soda, u can add citric acid crystala also. avoid adding of turmic, because it becomes red co at the end
