Ingredients used in MOONG DAL MASALA PAPAD
• Moong dal - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Chickpea flour - 2 teaspoons.
• Butter - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - 1 to fry.
• Tomato(finely chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Onion(finely chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Green chillies(finely chopped) - 1 number.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Chat masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Sweet chutney - 1 tea spoon.
• Sweet yogurt - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Soak moong dal and boil until it is nice and soft, transfer into a blender and to make a smooth paste.
  • Take a bowl and add moong dal paste, salt, chickpea flour, little water, butter and mix nicely to make a dough.
  • Divide dough into small portion and place in between oil applied polythene sheet and roll into thin papad.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry papad and keep aside.
  • Take a serving plate and place slightly crushed papad,
  • On top of it add tomato, onion, green chillies, cumin powder, coriander powder, chat masala, sweet chutney, sweet yogurt and garnish with coriander.

Now moong dal masala papad is ready to serve.
