Ingredients used in Moong Dal Roti
• Moong dal - 1/2 cup.
• Water(as required) - 1 cup.
• Carom seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chilly powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Onions(chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Wheat flour - 1/2 cup.
• Oil - 2-3 teaspoons.
Method:
  • Take a mixie jar, add moong dal, coarsely mixture, later soak the mixture in water for 4 hours and strain water.
  • Take a bowl, add moong dal, carom seeds, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, onions, salt, wheat flour and mix nicely to make slightly stiff dough using little water.
  • Divide the dough into portion and dust some flour and roll into thick roti.
  • Heat pan, and place the roti and cook it on both sides using little oil on slow flame.

Now the moong dal roti is ready to serve.
