Ingredients used in Mutton Palao
• Curd - 100 grams.
• Ghee - 100 grams.
• Green chili paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Garlic paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Ginger paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Onions (slices) - 4 small.
• Green peas - 200 grams.
• Potato (pieces) - 5 large.
• Mutton - 800 grams.
• Salt - to taste.
• Soaked rice - 800 grams.
• Cloves - 2 numbers.
• Cardamom - 2 numbers.
• Bay leaf - 1 number.
• Star-anise - 1 number.
• Biryani flower - 1 number.
• Caraway seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Mace - 1 number.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Heat ghee in a deep vessel add the whole garam masala and the onion fry it till golden see that the onions should not be too gloden.
  • Add the ginger, garlic and green chilli paste fry add the chickens,or mutton ,or beef to it and cook for 5 minutes keep on stirrring.
  • Add the peas and salt and potatoes and cook for more 10 minutes.
  • Then add, water, rice mix well and cook till rice is half done then add the curd and mix well cover it and keep on slow fire till done.

Server it with salad.
