Ingredients used in NAVRATAN KORMA
• Amchur(mango powder) - half piece.
• Ground coriander seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chillie powder - half tea spoon.
• Turmeric - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Jeera - half tea spoon.
• Cilantro - half cup.
• Tomatoes(garnishing) - half piece.
• Hing - pinch.
• Shreded ginger - 1 tea spoon.
• Sliced carrot - 1 number.
• Red belll pepper - half piece.
• Peas - half cup.
• Beans - half cup.
• Cauliflower - 1 cup.
• Garam masala - half tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Corn starch - half tea spoon.
• Bay leaves - 2 pieces.
• Fresh milk - 1 cup.
• Green chillies - 4-5 numbers.
• Panner (cubed and fried) - 100 grams.
Method:
  • Heat pan add oil,add jeera let that crackle,add pich of hing and bay leaves.stir it. In a cup mix greenchillies,ginger,turmeric,chillie powder,coriander powder with some drops of water in it and mix it.
  • Doing this do not burn the spices. Then add this spice paste to the pan and mix well till it starts leaving oil from sides.Add gobi,beans,peas,carrot and mix it.
  • Cover and cook till its half cooked.Stir in between.In that time fry some panner in oil and keep aside.
  • When veggies are half cooked add red bell pepper let it cook for some more time.in that time mix corn starch to milk and keep it.when veggies are done add the milk to it it.Stir it well.
  • Add Salt and panner and mix it.cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • At last add Garam masala and mango powder and coriander and mix it. then garnish it with tomatoes and serve with any kind of bread and rice.
