Ingredients used in Oats Aloo Roti
• Oats - 1/2 cup.
• Wheat flour - 1/2 cup.
• Curry leaves (finely chopped) - 1 teaspoons.
• Onions (finely chopped) - 1 teaspoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Green chilies (finely chopped) - 1 teaspoons.
• Coriander leaves (finely chopped) - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Potato (boiled) - 1 numbers.
• Oil - 2-3 teaspoons.
Method:
  • Heat pan and dry roast oats and transfer into a blender to make powder.
  • Take a bowl, add oats powder, wheat flour, curry leaves, onions, cumin seeds, green chillies, coriander leaves, salt and mix nicely.
  • Add boiled and mashed potato and mix nicely by adding little water to make the dough. Add oil and knead it.
  • Divide into small portion and roll into small paratha.
  • Place it on hot pan and cook it with little oil on both sides.

Now oats aloo roti is ready to serve.

Paratha is quite preferred north Indian breads that's prepared in the majority of north Indian homes, restaurants and dhabas. Paratha is usually the primary morning meal specifically in North India and primarily in the state of Punjab. Every home in north India has its own method of preparing the paratha using various stuffing and spices. These breads differ from area to area highlighting the variety of Indian culture and food habits.

 

Parathas are frequently filled with various veggies, green leafy vegetable, lentils, paneer (Indian Cheese Cottage) or mince meat. There are many versions of stuffed parathas including Aloo Paratha, Gobi Paratha or Keema Paratha and many others

 

In case you are having parathas in Punjab then do not be amused if you find people drinking a tall glass of lassi together with the paratha. A good stuffed paratha is quite heavy which is sufficient meal alone and you will probably feel like having a good sleep after having 2 or 3 parathas in Punjab where they're cooked with ghee and offered with lot of butter and lassi.

Paneer Paratha is a popular Punjabi paratha recipe. A delicious double-layer of paratha stuffed with spiced paneer is an experience individuals must die for.

Pyaz Tamater Tikkar Rajasthani Paratha -A popular Rajasthani paratha made with corn meal flour (makkai ka atta), whole wheat flour mixed with some finely chopped onion, tomatoes and other spices and pan fried like a paratha.

 

Palak Paneer Paratha a whole wheat flour Indian flat bread stuffed with a mix of spinach and paneer (Indian cottage cheese).

 

Green peas paratha is a very delicious, healthy and filling breakfast. It can be served with pickles or curd.
