Ingredients used in PACHI ARATIKAYA COCONUT FRY
• Pachi aratikaya (raw babana) - 2 numbers.
• Green chillies - 4 numbers.
• One inch ginger piece - 1 numbers.
• Dry/fresh coconut powder - HALF cup.
• Onion - 1 numbers.
• Chana dal - 1 teaspoons.
• Urad dal - 1 teaspoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Muster seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Haldi - pinch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Curry leaves - 1 bunch.
• Fresh coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Red chilly - 1 numbers.
Method:
1.PEAL THE BANANAS AND KEEP THEM IN WATER (ADD HALF TEA SPOON OF SALT IN WATER). 2.TAKE GREEN CHILIES,GINGER PIECE AND COCONUT POWDER IN TO MIXER AND GRIND IN TO A PASTE. 3.TAKE KHADAI AND HEAT OIL, ADD URAD DALL, CHANA DAL, CUMIN SEEDS AND MUSTER SEEDS AND ADD A RED CHILLY. 4. FRY THEM TILL YOU GET A GOOD SMELL AND ADD HALDI POWDER AND CURRY LEAVES. 5.NOW ADD GREEN CHILLY,GINGER AND COCONUT PASTE ALONG WITH SALT AND FRY IT FOR FEW MINUTES, TILL RAW SMELL OF PASTE GOES. 6.NOW TAKE BANANA PIECES FROM SALT WATER AND ADD TO THIS PASTE AND FRY IN MEDIUM FLAME. 7. AFTER 3 MINUTES KEEP LID ON KHADAI AND STIR OCCASIONALLY. 8.COOK FOR 8-TO 10 MINUTES TILL RAW BANANA PIECES COOKED. 9.FINALLY ADD FRESH CORIANDER LEAVES AND SERVE WITH RICE. .
