Ingredients used in Palak pulao
• Basumati rice - 2 cup.
• Salt,green chilli - to taste.
• Whole garam masala - .
• Cashwes - 2 tablespoons.
• Spinach - 1 bunch.
• Carrot and green peas - quarter cup.
Method:
First take rice into one bowl wash it and then drain it before starting cooking this preparation. Take a pan add oil,spinach and green chillis. Then fry till spinach reduces its amount that is until it cook. After this remove from pan let it cool. After that make smooth paste of spinach (you can add water if needed). Next take a medium size vessel and add ghee, whole garam masala(cardamom,bay leaves,cinnamon sticks,cloves). Then stir well then add carrot , green peas. again stir well and leave for 2 min till it cooks. After that add cashews and drained rice then stir well after that add palak puri. again stir well and just leave for 2 min. then add salt and 4 cups of water then keep a lid let it cook. After it finishes finally add chopped coriander leaves and serve.

The recipe was good and the instructions were lucid and clear. However, instead of green peas, I added corn and found the end product equally nice. Moreover, I added a little ginger-garlic paste while giving the tadka, thereby enhancing the flavour
