Ingredients used in parsi dal
• Split red lentil - 120 grams.
• Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Salt - 2 teaspoons.
• Water - 4 cup.
• Clarified - 1 tablespoons.
• Garlic - 2 clove.
• Cumin - 1/2 teaspoons.
Method:

1. cook the gram and turmeric in half the amount of water till the gram is tender.

Drain and mash. add salt and keep it aside. Heat clari fied butter. add finely chopped garlic and cumin and fry till the cumin is brown. pour this into the prepared dal. add the remaining water and bring to boil. this dal should be like a very thick soup. serve hot with bolied rice.
