Ingredients used in Peshawari Roast Lamb
• Lamb (preferably leg) - 1000 grams.
• Onion sliced - 250 grams.
• Yogurt - 250 ml.
• Ghee or oil - 200 grams.
• Pepper - 1 teaspoons.
• Chili powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Garam masala - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - 2 teaspoons.
• Green peas - 500 grams.
• Ginger paste - 1 tablespoons.
• Garlic paste - 1 tablespoons.
Method:
Clean and remove the skin from the leg of lamb. Slit it with a knife randomly, Mix yogurt, chili powder, pepper, garam masala salt and turmeric. Rub this mixture to the lamb. Fry the onions till brown and add ginger garlic paste and fry till 3 minutes. Transfer the mixture into a big oven proof dish and place the leg of lamb and peas in it. Heat the oven to medium and cook in the oven for 25-30 minutes or till the lamb is cooked and tender.

I find in most of the dishes the marination is missing. To do Peshwari Raan you need to marinate at least overnight. Your comments please.
