India is well known for its food but hardly people know that we have an array of natural drinks that are both distinctive and refreshing. Dilution of yoghurt into a very thin consistency with adding water is actually Lassi.

Ingredients used in Plain Lassi
• Plain yogurt - 3 cups.
• Whole milk - 2 cups.
• Ice cubes - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - 1 tea spoon.
• Sugar - 3 teaspoons.
• Cold water - as required.
Method:
  • Crush the ice cubes in the blender.
  • Add curd, milk, water, salt and sugar. Blend in blender for about 1 minute.

Serve chilled.
