Plain puris
Author : Vahchef
Main Ingredient : Flour
Servings : 0 persons
Published date : November 24, 2016

Ingredients used in Plain puris
• Wheat flour - 2 1/2 cup.
• Warm water - to taste.
• Salt - pinch.
• Sugar - 1 teaspoons.
• Oil - 2-3 teaspoons.
• Oil - to fry.
Method:
1. Mix wheat flour, salt, sugar and water to form a little hard dough.

2. Cover the dough with a wet cloth or tissue paper for about 20-25 min.

3. Now knead the dough again and make small round balls of it.

4. Apply some hot oil to the balls to make the rolling easier. Roll out each ball into 4 inch diameter circle.

5. Heat some oil in a deep pan. Oil should be enough to deep fry the puris. When oil is hot, turn the heat on medium.

6. Slide puris in the oil. Lightly press the top surface of each puri if it doesn#39;t puff up. Turn upside down of the puri. Fry till both the sides turn golden brown.
