Ingredients used in Prawn Caldine Curry
• Green chilly - 4 numbers.
• Ginger garlic slices - 10 grams.
• Salt - to taste.
• Onions - 2 numbers.
• Oil - 3 tablespoons.
• Poppy seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Pepper corns - 10 numbers.
• Prawns - 500 grams.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Tamarind juice - ½ cup.
• Vinegar - ½ tea spoon.
• Coconut milk - 3 tablespoons.
• Sugar - 1 pinch.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
Heat a pan add peppercorns, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, poppy seeds, dry roast the ingredients put it into the blender and make a paste. Heat oil in a pan add prawns, salt, cook it for a minute and take it into a plate. In the same oil add onions, salt, thin slices of ginger, garlic, green chilly, turmeric powder and add made poppy seeds paste, tamarind juice, vinegar, cook it for some more minutes. Add coconut milk bring it to a boil add a pinch of sugar. Add the cooked prawns cook it for 3 minutes and switch off the flame.
