Ingredients used in RAW BANANA CHAAT
• Raw plantain(grated) - 1 number.
• Potato(boiled and mashed) - 1/4 cup.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Green chillies paste - 1 tablespoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Amchoor powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Spring onion (chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Red chili flakes - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Chickpea flour - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Curd - 1 cup.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Chat masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Onion(chopped) - 1 number.
• Sev - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Green chutney - 1 tablespoon.
• Sweet red chutney - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
Peel out raw plantain skin and grate it. Now add boiled and mashed potato, curry leaves, green chilies paste, cumin seeds, amchur powder, spring onion, red chili flakes, salt and mix it. Now add chickpea flour and mix it again. Make small dumplings and flatten them (like vadas), then deep fry them in hot oil. Take them out on tissue paper once they become golden brown. Arrange each vada on top of tomato slice then season with curd, cumin powder, chat masala, red chili powder, chopped onions, sev, green chutney, sweet red chutney, fresh coriander leaves. Yummy and tastyRAW BANANA CHAT is ready to serve.
