Ingredients used in Russian Salad - Stolichni
• Green apple (not red) - 1 numbers.
• Pickled cucumber (if it is not available then use two small fresh cucumbers. - 4 numbers.
• Onion (small) - 1 numbers.
• Green peas (boiled or tinned) - 200 grams.
• Eggs (hard boiled- boil for atleast 15-18 mins) - 4 numbers.
• Carrots (medium size) - 2 numbers.
• Potatoes (at least medium size) - 4 numbers.
• Dill and parsley - 1 bunch.
• Mayonnaise (olive mayonnaise is better) - 200 grams.
• Salt and black pepper to taste - 1 pinch.
Wash vegetables and boil whole unpeeled potatoes, carrots and eggs. Let it cool. Peel and dice boiled vegetables (potatoes and carrot) into small cubes and put it in a big bowl so that it is easy to mix. Dice eggs into very small cubes. Chop the pickled cucumbers into small cubes. Add it to the bowl. Add finely chopped chicken to it. Chop onion finely into very small cubes and add to the bowl. Stir everything and add green peas. Take a small bunch of dill and parsley and chop it finely. Add to the bowl. Finally dice the green apple into small cubes and add to the bowl. Season with salt, pepper and dress with mayonnaise. Mix the ingredients well. Put in a salad bowl and garnish with greens. Please note: If you are expecting guests in the evening you can dice the vegetables and chicken in the afternoon and keep it in the fridge. Dice the dill, parsley and green apple before your guests arrive in the evening. Before serving add pinch of salt, pepper and mayonnaise and mix well.

I posted this recipe but forgot to add that boil three medium pieces of chicken to add to your salad. You can also avoid it if you don't like chicken.
