Ingredients used in Sago Thalipeeth
• Sago - 1 cup.
• Corn meal flour - 1/4 cup.
• Rice flour - 1/2 cup.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Green chillies (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves (chopped) - 1 springs.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Onions (chopped) - 1 cup.
• Sesame seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Grated potato - 1 numbers.
• Oil - 4-5 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Soak sago for 1-2 hours and strain off the water.
  • Take a bowl, add soaked sago, cornmeal flour, rice flour, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, green chilies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, onions, salt, sesame seeds, grated potato and mix nicely using little water and make a slightly hard dough.
  • Grease the kadai with little oil and press the dough, make holes like as shown in the video.
  • Cook it on all sides with the lid on it for 5 minutes on high flame, later remove the lid, reduce the flame and cook it on a slow flame until its id nicely colored on all sides.

Now the Sago Thalipeeth transfer into a plate and serve.
