Ingredients used in Sambhar Podi ( Tamil Nadu style)
• Channa Dal 1/4 Cup.
• Split Moong Dal 1/4 Cup.
• Toor Dal 1/4 Cup.
• Fenugreek 1/4 Cup.
• Cumin seeds 1/2 Cup.
• Coriander seeds 1/2 Cup.
• Red Chillies( very hot) 2 Cup.
• Black Peppercorns 1/8 Cup.
• Turmeric Powder 2 Tablespoons.
How to make the recipe:
Fry toor dal, channa dal moong dal and fenugreek in a kadai seperately until they are golden brown and set aside to cool. In the same kadai fry the red chillies until they change colour a little bit. Then just heat up coriander seeds, cumin seeds and black peppercorns. Grind all the ingredients together to a fine powder in mixie
